Curriculum Topics - Foundation Course

We create a grounding space to connect with and get to know the other participants, fostering a community of care as we step into a 12-week journey. We co-create agreements and build trust and safety as we embark on a world of authentic and compassionate living in our relationships.

A guided journey inward through thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and breath. As we learn to quiet the noise of conditioning, we begin to shift from the head to the heart. In this space of silence, we reconnect with our inner wisdom and the subtle voice that guides us.

Gentle exploration of how feelings and needs are at the heart of every conflict. Recognizing and expressing our feelings honestly and connecting them to our more profound human needs—something shifts—we move from blame to understanding. It's a space to listen to oneself and others with empathy, discovering how shared human needs can become a bridge that transforms conflict into connection.

Understanding how our communication can either create distance or invite connection is crucial. By practicing observation without judgment, we reduce defensiveness and open space for understanding. We are exploring how making clear, respectful requests—rather than making demands—can support honest dialogue and mutual care.

Listening is more than hearing words—it is about being fully present with another’s experience. Through the “listening platter,” we explore different ways of listening that bring understanding, safety, and connection. As we practice empathetic listening, we learn to hold space without fixing, judging, or interrupting.

This space supports us in staying present and grounded even when intensity rises. We explore simple tools that help us respond rather than react and allow us to hold both our needs and those of others with care. Over time, difficult conversations can become opportunities for honesty, understanding, and deeper connection.

Shame often lives quietly within us, shaping how we see ourselves and others. In this session, we gently bring awareness to shame patterns and explore them with compassion. By holding these systemic emotions with care, we create space for healing, self-acceptance, and freedom.

Occasionally, the mind wants to move forward, yet something inside still holds us back; by listening to the feelings of our younger self and questioning the beliefs we learned, we begin to release these inner blocks and move with more confidence.

Setting boundaries without disconnection and being authentic with kindness and care is an important value system and a skill to learn. This session will help you reflect on your behaviors, beliefs, values, and difficulties in being authentic.

Normalizing conversations around menstruation helps create a more nurturing and emotionally attuned home. When everyone in the family grows in awareness, it becomes easier to offer care, respect, and support during different phases of the cycle.

Helping parents move beyond their conditioning and traditional ideas of learning, success, and living life. This session invites us to reimagine life as a self-directed journey rooted in curiosity, autonomy, and lived experience. Through gentle inquiry, we identify the core beliefs shaped by conditioning that limit our growth and explore light, easeful ways to shift them.

A gentle space to pause and acknowledge the journey, the inner shifts, and the lessons that have unfolded along the way. Through gratitude for ourselves, others, and the shared process, we enhance our sense of connection and appreciation. This closing invites us to carry these lessons forward with openness, care, and continued community support.

Activities included in BMLY-2026

Soil Building (Subject Videos)

What it is: Soil Building refers to the foundational video lectures shared before each session to gently prepare participants for more profound learning. A short 10–15-minute video related to the weekly session will be uploaded every Saturday, offering key ideas, reflections, and context. These videos act as a primer, allowing you to engage with the topic at your own pace and begin forming questions and insights before the live session.

Activities include: Watching weekly video lectures, reflecting on key ideas and personal relevance, noting questions or observations, and preparing thoughts to bring into the live group discussion.

Seed for thought (Workbook)

What it is: Seed for Thought is a guided workbook designed to deepen your engagement with each session topic through structured reading and reflective exercises. It contains written material and thoughtfully designed assignments that encourage you to pause, think, and connect concepts to your life. This process helps plant strong conceptual seeds, ensuring that learning is not just understood intellectually but also internalized and applied meaningfully.

Activities include: Reading pre-session material, completing reflective assignments, engaging with thought-provoking prompts, and writing responses to build clarity and deeper personal understanding.

Wisdom Circle (Live Sessions)

What it is: The Wisdom Circle is a weekly 3-hour live session held every Friday from 6 to 9 PM, where participants come together to learn, share, and grow as a community. These sessions create a safe and dynamic space for collective exploration, where diverse perspectives enrich understanding. Through shared experiences and dialogue, participants deepen connections and co-create a supportive environment for meaningful transformation.

Activities include: Participating in check-ins, learning core concepts, engaging in group discussions and role-plays, sharing reflections, and contributing to live Q&A and collective insights.

The Cocoon (Home Groups)

What it is: The Cocoon refers to small, intimate group spaces where participants meet outside the main sessions to deepen their learning journey. These groups provide a nurturing environment for sharing experiences, practicing concepts, and integrating insights at a comfortable pace. Through consistent interaction and mutual support, participants gradually move toward personal transformation while feeling held within a trusted community.

Activities include: Engaging in small group discussions, reflecting on session themes, sharing personal experiences, practicing learnings, and supporting each other through honest and meaningful conversations.

The Nurturers (Accountability Partners)

What it is: The Nurturers are accountability partnerships formed within the BMLY community to support consistent growth and commitment. Each participant pairs with another to encourage, guide, and hold space for each other’s progress. This relationship helps ensure that intentions are not forgotten but actively nurtured, allowing both individuals to stay aligned with their goals and sustain momentum throughout the journey.

Activities include: Regular check-ins, discussing goals and progress, offering encouragement, sharing challenges, and gently holding each other accountable to maintain consistency and growth.

Sprouts of Insight (Journaling)

What it is: Sprouts of Insight is a dedicated journaling practice that supports self-reflection and inner growth throughout the program. Like a sprout drawing from its inner energy to grow and shed limitations, this process invites you to connect deeply with your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. It creates space to observe patterns, gain clarity, and nurture your evolving awareness over time.

Activities include: Writing weekly reflections, responding to guided prompts, documenting insights and learnings, and exploring personal growth through consistent and mindful journaling.
