About the Course

BMLY is a 24-week course divided into two 12-week cohorts, along with some free bonus offerings. The first cohort is a foundation course that will introduce you to 12 concepts that can give you a growing edge in building authentic and compassionate relationships. Concepts like needs, feelings, communication, shame, conflicts, empathy, etc., will be seen on a deeper level and thereby help you build a deeper connection with the people around you. In this program, you will have a community of people with whom you can learn, share, and practice your new way of engaging and relating before feeling confident enough to implement it in the real world.

The second cohort is an advanced course, which will introduce you to concepts that are intense and require higher consciousness and awareness. The sessions will be of long duration to help you integrate the concepts at an ease pace. The facilitators will guide you through every step. To join the advanced course, completing the foundation course or previous BMLY/ITFR programs is mandatory. The program helps you meet consistently over more than 24 weeks for learning while being in connection with a community of learners on a shared learning journey. By the end of this program, you’ll see a part of you in everyone you meet. People will come to learn, but they will leave with a community that helps them grow and evolve.

Financial Flexibility and Discount Policy

We aim to make this program accessible to all, particularly those who have faced barriers to financial resources. We aim to cover the program's costs and nurture the organizing team, who are dedicating their heart, time, and energy. We want to look for creative ways to be inclusive as well as sustainable.

This event is about our values, which include making things work for everyone. It corresponds to specific parts of the content of the event itself: it’s about having difficult conversations where we can meet the needs of all concerned with consent and a spirit of collaboration, shifting from negotiations to dialogue, from an individual perspective to an interdependent one, and from scarcity to abundance. In our own ways, we are trying to live collaboratively as we aim to build a ‘Teal Family’ or a larger ‘Teal Community’ and integrate the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), making it even more exciting to explore diverse strategies in our work with money.

This effort to be inclusive and promote equity requires time and effort from us as well; we gain your presence through this commitment. We get a much more diverse group of participants who come here to co-create this rich and meaningful event.

In this instance, we are utilizing various approaches with the aim of reaching enough sustainability, enough clarity, enough ease, enough self-responsibility, and enough accessibility for all.

We have settled on the contributions that are calculated to cover all associated costs, including ongoing sustainability for the organizing team, the facilitator, and supporting exemptions/scholarships.

We invite any participant who can contribute more than the requested amount to consider giving more, as it will help us organize the events well and allow us to welcome more people to attend while offering them discounts.

We prioritize those who are marginalized by systemic imbalances and those working on social change projects or contributing to their communities, even if we can't support everyone. If you wish to request the monthly installment, discounts, and exemptions, please do reach out to us by sending an email to shamminanda@gmail.com

Bonus Offerings

Beyond the core curriculum, you will receive access to three carefully curated bonus sessions based on themes that naturally emerge from participant experiences during the BMLY-2026 journey. These sessions are designed to address real, lived challenges and provide practical tools and perspectives that directly support your growth. They create flexibility within the program, ensuring that learning remains relevant, responsive, and deeply aligned with the needs of the group.

You will have the opportunity to book a one-to-one session with a facilitator from Ahimsagram at a special discounted rate. These sessions offer a safe and personalized space for deeper reflection, emotional grounding, and clarity. Whether you are navigating a challenge or seeking direction, this support allows you to integrate the lessons in a way that is meaningful to your unique journey.

You will be part of an active WhatsApp community where participants and facilitators stay connected throughout the course. This space serves as a gentle support system—where you can share reflections, ask questions, celebrate small wins, and feel held in moments of doubt. It helps sustain engagement between sessions and fosters a sense of belonging within a like-minded group.

At the end of the program, you will gain access to the alumni community, where learning continues beyond the structured course. These meetups offer a space to reconnect, revisit concepts, and stay inspired through shared experiences. Being part of this evolving network ensures that your journey does not end in three months but continues to grow over time.

As part of your journey, you will receive an exclusive 25% discount on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) card sets, along with free delivery anywhere in India. These cards are practical tools that support you in building emotional awareness, improving communication, and navigating relationships with more clarity and empathy in your daily life.

Participants of this program will be eligible for special discounts on future courses and retreats offered by Ahimsagram. This allows you to continue your growth journey with ongoing learning opportunities, deeper immersions, and a supportive community that evolves alongside you.

Lyla FreeChild

Lyla FreeChild is a holistic food and wellness practitioner with seven years of experience. She specializes in organizing homes and kitchens to reduce overwhelm and make healthy, exciting cooking more accessible.

Shemon Koba

As an Asian born in France, his journey for self-knowledge, heart-to-heart connection, and finding balance between extremes started with wounds of abandonment, rejection, and humiliation. It was through trauma healing and learning what truly defines healthy relationships that he was able to reconnect with his emotions. For many years, he had avoided facing these feelings, relying primarily on meditation and positive thinking as a way to cope. Over time, he started to realize that deep-rooted social conditioning, particularly patriarchal mindsets, shapes and limits many self-development approaches. He came to understand that real transformation is not just about changing one’s thoughts but about embodying values through lived experience—through the body, in the way one moves, feels, and connects with others. For the past seven years, he has been exploring and sharing mind-body practices, especially through Tai Chi-inspired movements, guiding others toward a more integrated and grounded connection with themselves beyond the realm of the mind.

Catherine Brunelle Durain

French-born Canadian, part Native, and a natural healer, she has traveled extensively across the world in search of wisdom and a more profound understanding. Her journey has led her to study traditional energetic medicines, positive psychology, and family constellations, each enriching her understanding of the human condition and the invisible dynamics that shape our lives.
From this rich and integrative path, she developed Systemic NonViolence, an approach that nurtures a cognitive meta-vision and invites a deeper awareness of the mechanisms and synergies at play within our inner complexity, our relationships, and the groups to which we belong.

Frequently Asked Questions

The "Being Me Loving You" (BMLY) Membership Circle is a community learning space designed to help you practice understanding and expressing your needs, as well as those of your partner. Using Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as a guide, we provide exercises and role plays to strengthen your connection and communication skills.

After completing our seventh batch of BMLY online courses, we saw the need for ongoing practice to deepen and integrate the lessons. Some past participants also asked for a space to continue their learning. So, we started this continuous practice group in February 2023 for anyone interested in further exploration. Besides we are convinced that the learning that happens with a community of intentional learners, has its own magic and power. People who share similar concerns and have been walking similar paths can be guides and mentors when they share and hear each other's challenges and wins. We experienced this in the previous BMLY Membership and are convinced to create more such spaces for deep learning with the community.
