Support Community Crowdfund for Teal Family Retreat

I have always tried to experiment with money, at times we had pleasant surprises and at other times there were challenges.

As the organiser of the upcoming International Teal Family Retreat-2026, determining the right pricing is a difficult task for me. My goal is to set a price that not only covers the organisational costs but also ensures that the expenses for facilitators are taken care of, so we can all be supported as we contribute our time, energy, and resources. At the same time, it is essential to make the event accessible to everyone who wishes to attend, regardless of their financial situation. The challenge lies in how we can best meet the diverse needs of all participants while remaining within our capacity.

We have explored creative approaches to address financial needs.

Discounts and Scholarships:
We offer discounts and work exchange opportunities for participants who face challenges in covering the full cost.

Sliding Scale:
A sliding scale pricing option has been introduced, allowing individuals to contribute based on their financial capacity while helping us cover the basic organisational costs.

Separate Pricing for Corporates:
To ensure fairness, we have set different pricing for corporate participants. This aims to balance the event's expenses by receiving contributions from those with greater financial means, while still supporting those who may not be able to afford the full cost.

We aim to prioritise individuals who are affected by systemic inequities and those who have chosen to serve their communities, even when their financial resources are limited. This retreat covers a wide range of transformative topics, including sustainable living, conflict resolution, understanding the hidden layers of society, the unschooling way of being, health, menstruation, food, nature, and more. These are the building blocks for creating a world of peace. Our goal is to empower one person from each family, organisation, or community to grow and evolve, thereby fostering positive change in their own spaces. Ultimately, we strive to create a world founded on trust, equity, and harmony for all.

We believe that this retreat will play a vital role in creating a more humane, compassionate, and collaborative world. Although we are offering discounts, we are also appealing to the larger community, including people like you, to help us bridge a shortfall. Your contribution will ensure that we can meet our needs as well as the needs of our participants.

At present, we have a shortfall of INR 8,50,000 (9434 USD).  While our priority is to foster connection over financial contributions, we recognize that the system we live in requires money to organize and nurture our community.  If you share our vision of transformation and want to support individuals embarking on this journey with their families, we invite you to contribute to this event.
